Tasmania Roadtrip - Week 3 - Pieman Heads

The 'Arcadia' last left the safety of the Pieman River through these dangerous 'Heads' for a refit in Launceston in 2006. It was a perilous journey into the wild Southern Ocean. Many died back in the old mining days trying to bring supplies in and out of the Pieman. Overland would definitely be safer!
